...to Rachel and Jason, leaving for their "honeymoon trip" to Hawaii tomorrow. When they get back we will commence with the wedding plan details. Crazy Army marriages ... but we're getting it all done eventually.
I am at the Hall house "helping" with the new baby. There is not much to help with so far -- she likes to sleep a lot and doesn't take much consoling between feedings. Until about noon today it had been tough to get her awake long enough and often enough to get a feeding in as often as they recommend for newborns, but she seems to be picking up some speed on that by tonight. She has lost a pound so only 9 lbs 7 oz now ... really, she doesn't look that big, certainly not as big as in some of the first photos that Shane posted. His blog has all the good new pictures today. I think her round cheeks make her look like an old gramma face. She seems to have a small little mouth and nose -- need to look at Danelle's baby pics again to see how they compare. LONG fingers and toes. I think she will be tall someday.
And so I will help Danelle with whatever she needs to do. Maybe we'll go to the park tomorrow. It is supposed to be over 80 here again. And maybe figure out something to make for dinner tomorrow.
Don't Miss Out!
