More Moses Lake moments

... as reported in the police records,Columbia Basin Herald, May 26. I shouldn't make fun of these, really, but rather I should be thankful that we live in such a low crime area that our police and sheriff deputies have time to listen to these complaints, and sometimes even go out on a few of these calls to make sure everything is really OK.

May 24
15:54 - A snake was found in a yard
(I had one last year; never thought to call the cops though.)

17:33 - Juveniles were riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers
(... cuz ... that's what they do ...)

May 22
10:30 - A goat was chasing dogs and people.
(Just picture that! haha -- I want to know what kind of dogs -- or what kind of goats?!)

and our favorite (who calls the police for this sort of thing?) --

May 21
Grant County Sheriff's Office
17:35 - A cranky female was reported.

I could have been that female today if I had said what I was thinking to the guy at the door after he rang the doorbell three times at 6:03 AM... to buy a pig. I guess some people are concerned we don't have very many and they need to get here early. My alarm clock is set for 6:30 AM, so I was deprived of some of my beauty sleep today :o) They actually drove here from Wenatchee (an hour away!) so they were very early risers indeed.
