These piggies are from the Klingeman farm. Since we get our pigs at 50 lbs. from a truck from Canada, we don't have the little ones here anymore. They are fun to hold if mama doesn't get too huffy. Thea was sleeping in the car for most of the piggy visit; when she woke up she looked but wasn't interested in holding. Nicholas then decided to conquer the manure pile:
And then we moved on to the dairy (Bob Fekkes) ...With a lot of mud and standing water (it was January, after all), we caught a ride in the back of the pickup. For a kid who is used to only sitting firmly secured in a car seat, Thea wasn't so sure this was a good idea..

The girls liked the little calves, and I think this one is sucking on Dayna's finger. Nicholas, having been to the dairy a few times, found the puddles more fun.
We then moved over to the milking parlor, which the girls enjoyed, (can't you tell by the look on Thea's face?) but for whatever reason, Nicholas hated. I think it was the noises. He wanted to get out of there asap, so we didn't stay too long. All in all, it was a pretty fun afternoon.
