The way the news media is treating tonight's vice presidential candidate debates, you would think the election was happening tonight. Hello! These are not the people who will be the president. It has been a long time since the VP had to take over for a president.
Alas (or perhaps, fortunately) we will not be home tonight to watch it all unfold, and by the time we get home a winner will have been announced. We are going to the Crossroads Crisis Pregnancy center's annual fundraiser dinner. . . helping women who find themselves in a difficult situation understand that abortion is not the answer. Something Sarah Palin understands, and something Mr. Obama does not.

Well said... I've thought the same thing for weeks. So many people have been bashing on Palin for so many things, and she's not even the one running for President!! I'm going to watch it... mostly because I'll be home and several of my friends will want to talk about it... but I enjoy not being in liberalville anymore. :)
