Because everyone was in town this weekend for Papa's 80th birthday dinner/luncheon, Gramma Renae decided to have Danelle's birthday a couple of days early and had us all over for dinner on Saturday night.
She made a nice dancing lady cake and Danelle opened her presents with a little help from Thea.
Ben had a birthday on Friday too, but (as usual, it seems) he was busy working and it got little fanfare. I did make him a cherry pie, a rare thing in these parts and one of his favorites.
And happy birthday to Papa (tomorrow) -- we celebrated on Sunday with as many of the family who could be here at Pillar Rock Grill, a quick change of venue that worked out quite well. Ann made two cakes and we nearly polished them both off as well.

Thea enjoying some yummy mac and cheese.
Danelle liked the coloring pages they provided.
Nicholas and Thea got around, but the upper room we were in allowed for that quite nicely. I think Pillar Rock might be a place we return to, particularly for lunch.
