Moses Lake moments

Several weeks back, one of Moses Lake's police reports from the newspaper made the Headlines feature on Jay Leno's show. We discussed it a bit on Facebook but now I can't find the link to the video. Maybe someone will send it to me. [Dayna tried, but it has apparently expired]

If I remember right it said something like: "Two girls were making cookies on Hill Street."

I think they meant cutting cookies, like in a car driving in tight circles, but it brought on thoughts of baking cookies (yum!) and so it was funny.

I have noticed that sometimes (fairly often, really) there are these sort of police reports in our paper. You just have to scratch your head and wonder what they really meant, or why people waste the time of the police or sheriff's office reporting such things...

I found two more this week --

Grant County Sheriff's office, March 17
10:18 -- a woman was causing trouble and riding a trike.
and
20:09 -- a woman reported a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and nearly hit her.

(If I called the cops each time someone almost hit me ...)

Look for more of these as they come along, just for fun ... because I am pretty sure there will be more.
