It's a boy!

For Aaron and Sophia ...
Congratulations to them on their #3 son, Josué Mateo, (Joshua Matthew), born early Sunday morning. Seems I got my prediction birthdate right, but just for the wrong baby. If we get to Aaron's ordination service, we ought to be able to see the whole family in about 6 weeks.

Dayna is still hanging in there (or out there), cooking in the summer heat and not in the air conditioned room she had hoped to be in by now. There are 4 predictions for a birthday on July 2; that was also both Ted's and Buckshot's birthdays, I understand, so we'll see if she inherits that legacy or not.

We are having summer this week with temps at or near 100 degrees every day and there are few signs of the temps letting up anytime soon. We might get some thunderstorms today. These warm days do make the corn grow, however, even if they make the rest of us wilt.

Nicholas will be here today while his house gets new windows. Kelli thought that it would be best to keep him out from underfoot, and I think that is probably a good idea. He can really get around now that he can walk on practically any terrain and can stand back up again if he falls. He will keep me busy today!
